The Solution

FirstRater has developed its own technology and solutions for the search, ranking and selection of service vendors on the Internet. The search is simple, quick and powerful as Google. In our case the search is focused on service-relevant data contained in a database. The search list that is presented to the user is ranks potential service providers based on their quality and relevance. You can compare this with the service providers’ financial ranking from Dun & Bradstreet. FirstRater search and ranking is real time. In addition FirstRater applies a business process approach so that the user gets support through the whole purchasing process, from preparation-to search, selection, purchase and follow-up. Buyers get help to find an appropriate vendor by being presented a list of potential service providers that is ranked based on independent quality data. Vendors get help to find relevant customers and jobs that fit their needs.

1. Search & Ranking technology
   FirstRater has developed and patented it’s own technology. RATOR™ is a unique technology that handles search, ranking and selection of service vendors based on qualitative data and FirstRater’s own algorithms.
2. Web sites
   FirstRater develops its own web sites to enable e-commerce of services. Proffsjobb is the first example of an e-commerce site based on FirstRater technology. FirstRater is also seeking cooperation with partners where the FirstRater solutions can add value to existing web sites.
3. Business processes
   A professional business process throughout the purchasing experience supports buyers. The user is guided through the whole purchasing process, from preparations to search, selection, purchase and follow-up. After the customers have contacted vendors they are also supported in the selling process, from inquires to proposals and contracts.

Past & Future

FirstRater started with a business idea that was developed by a team of businessmen in 2005. The company was founded 2006. External seed financing was raised and a development team formed. The company has developed and protected its unique intellectual capital by such means as trademarks and patents. The first commercial solution, www.proffsjobb.se, was launched in February 2008.

FirstRater is now seeking additional external financing to carry out / conduct expansion and growth into other services markets and other geographical markets.
